This suburban family house standing on the top of a hill overlooking Marathon lake, in Afidnes, a village about 30 km from the center of Athens.

The smooth plastered surfaces enhance the volumetric simplicity of the building while the earthly colors it is painted, match with the Mediterranean context and climate of the mainland. The pitched roof tends to be a strong bond to the local traditional village houses, but in a contemporary version. txt/gr
